Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 October 2026

Painter3D("the app") is an application for iPad and Mac published by xfanta and distributed through the App Store. By downloading or using the app you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your license to use the app.

License

Painter3D is licensed, not sold. You get a personal, non-exclusive license to install and use the app on the Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms and the Apple EULA. The app and its source code are proprietary; you may not decompile, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app except as allowed by applicable law or the EULA.

Your models

You retain all rights to the models you open, paint and save with Painter3D. You are responsible for having the rights to use those models. The files you save and export are yours to use as you see fit.

The Low Poly ZOO models

The animal models that come with the app are © xfanta and are licensed for your personal use: open, recolour and print them as much as you like, and share photos of your prints. You may not redistribute the models themselves — the bundled files or files made from them, painted or not — or sell them or prints of them.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Painting, repair and export are produced automatically; keep your own backups of anything you cannot afford to lose, and check a file in your slicer before you print it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, xfanta shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, filament, prints, profits, or business, arising from the use of or inability to use the app.
